Music at Mission: Ensemble St. Germain- Sunday May 20th, 2012 3:00pm

Hi folks.  It’s taken me a few days to get the information together on this one, but I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be appearing with the Ensemble St. Germain in the final Music at Mission concert of the season.

This is a fabulous all French program that includes:

Jehan Alain – “Monodie” for solo flute
Claude Debussy – “L’aprés midi d’une faune” for flute & piano
Jehan Alain – “Trois Mouvements” for flute & piano
Maurice Duruflé – “Prelude et Fugue sur la nom d’A.L.A.I.N.”
Jehan Alain – “Messe Modale” for flute, string quartet, soprano & alto
Gabriel Fauré – “Pavane” for flute, string quartet, soprano & alto, arranged by Tim Macri

 

I am very excited about this program and I hope to see as many of you there as possible.  Please feel free to comment here if you have any questions about the concert.  We’ll start at 3:00pm and be done around 4:00pm.

There is street parking available on Tremont Street and some other local side streets.  Watch for Mission Hill Resident Parking areas.  Mission Church is completely handicap accessible.  It is also T accessible via  the Green Line, Orange Line, and major bus routes 39 & 66.
