It does make me a little sad that after tonight, we will have to wait such a long time to see anything new. Season Five won’t start for some 9 or 10 months. And I imagine that tonight’s episode will drop a few surprises on us, even those of us who have read the books.
The title is “The Children”, if I am not mistaken. I read somewhere that this episode is some 66 minutes long, a bit longer than many of the other episodes, so I suppose they needed extra time to wrap up some storylines or leave us hanging for season five or both.
I am hoping that tonight we will see the next step in Bran’s journey, and possibly meet the man known as Coldhands in the books. I am also hoping that we will see Stannis’ army arrive at the Wall, and the Wildling army routed. Perhaps we will also see a few favorite characters depart the shores of Westeros (there are two that I have in mind that should be heading to Essos). I don’t want to get ahead of myself or anything.
In the meantime, it seems they are showing all of Season 4 previous to showing the season finale. So enjoy the run-up to the end if you can.
