The last 24 hours have been insane

Wow.  Even though I am not much of a football fan, I have to say that last night’s game was pretty dramatic.

We changed the channel during the game when the Pats were losing so we could watch Downton Abbey.  Up to that point the game had been pretty good, although suddenly the Seahawks were ahead by 10 points.  And much to our shock the halftime show was actually pretty good.  But when we switched back after Downton Abbey was over, the Pats had manged to catch up and were ahead by a mere 4 points, with not much time left in the game.  So we got to watch what was probably the two most insane plays of the game: the almost-dropped-the-ball catch by the Seahawks’ Jermaine Kearse, nearly foiled by the guy who would later succeed in an interception: Patriots’ rookie Malcolm Butler.

Kelly noticed that at one point Butler decided that he wanted that new truck Tom Brady got for being MVP.  Like the folks at BDC.com, we think he’s earned it.

So we went to sleep knowing that the Pats had won yet another Superbowl, and I am pretty sure it was all due to slightly under-inflated balls.  Totally.

When I woke up this morning, snow was coming down pretty hard, and has already covered everything with a few more inches.  So I checked in at work and once again, we were closed due to the snow.  So I got another day off to sleep in a bit and relax.  I recently discovered Conan O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer series, mostly due to the awesome clip he did with Marshawn Lynch and Rob Gronkowski.  So Kelly and I watched a bunch of them one after another.

Mom, you probably don’t want to watch this.  Any of them, really.

In the meantime, we probably have at least another foot of snow.  No idea when I am going to shovel it.  Not today.  It’s not even done yet.
