We’re married!

Holy crap, we’re married!  It’s finally done, I can’t believe it.

This was the best weekend.  Things leading up to the wedding were a bit crazy.  At one point on Wednesday night I even referred to myself as “Crispy Fried Bride.”

But!  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday were outstanding.  Aside from the occasional snappish moment when someone wasn’t listening to me or people were talking over me during the decorating madness that was Friday, all was well.

We’ve received our first wedding photo.  It was from Shelley and Jason and it arrived when we got home from the wedding.  For those of you who remember this entry, this photo will make sense.  If you need context, click here and scroll down to the question about not being a Red Sox fan.

Next time I throw a big party, I’m checking underpants at the door.  Wait, that doesn’t sound right…

There are more photos coming.  Many more photos.  Geoff and I will probably have north of 1500 photos to share and we’ll create a shutterfly site so everyone can see what they want to see, order prints if they want to, etc.  We’re not going to get photos for 4-6 weeks at minimum.  In the interim I’m sure we’ll be talking a lot about the wedding in this space.  Feel free to read, or not, as is your wont.  In that time we’ll also be working on thank you notes and cleaning and organizing and all that other good stuff.

Thank you to everyone who helped us get everything done, to everyone who came to celebrate with us, and to everyone who contributed in any way to our celebration.

More later from married land,

Kelly
