As much as I try to pretend otherwise, it is November. And while this does mean that there is a lot of really good music happening this month, it also means that it’s time for Holiday Craft Show Season to really get underway. My schedule is packed with great shows. If you need gifts for people who are interesting, quirky, hard to shop for, or just want something one of a kind, look no further.

I’m happy to be back at Roslindale Open Studios for a 2nd year. I’ll be upstairs at the Roslindale Congregational Church.
November 21st – Noon to 8:00pm – Arlington, MA
Come for the amazing 19th century mill, the fabulous crafts, the snacks, or the music. Come for all of it. This is a not to miss event! A portion of the proceeds of all items sold will go to benefit the mill, a not for profit corporation that relies on donations and grants to maintain this historic working structure.
Somerville Local First Small Business Sunday & Holiday Craft Fairs Sunday November 29th & Sunday December 20th
We’ll be back with the lovely folks from Arts at the Armory for another two shows, each on Sundays. There’s free parking, a tremendous variety of vendors, and lots of fun. If you’ve never been you should go at least once.
MIT Craft Show – Thursday December 3rd & Friday December 4th 9:00am-5:00pm
This is the annual craft fair put on by the Working Group for Support Staff Issues at MIT. The fair runs 9:00am-5:00pm both days and is in the atrium at 45 Carleton St. which is the campus building immediately behind the Kendall Sq inbound T station on the Red line. You never quite know what you’re going to get at MIT, so this should be really interesting.
Saturday December 5th 11:00am-5:00pm – First Church Jamaica Plain
I’m thrilled to be back with the good folks at First Church JP again. This year I’m in a prime location near the food. They have wonderful food. If you come for nothing else, come for the food. This is a great show with fabulous community and lovely people. The talent level is also top-notch.
