#WheresRory goes to @HarvardMuseum- The Glass Flowers

Rory has made his way through much of HMNH at this point.  In my previous posts, he’s seen much of what the museum has to offer and even got a “backstage entrance”.  Thus far we haven’t seen Rory’s visit to the crown jewel of the HMNH collection, the Glass Flowers.

Rory is Furiously Happy about seeing the Glass Flowers.

Rory got started with the Glass Flower leaflet.

Unfortunately Rory is blocking it so you can't read it all.

Thankfully, the entire English version of the leaflet is available here.  Just scroll down the page.

Rory read up on his history before he started checking out the flowers. Rory's good that way.

More reading for Rory. He reads a lot.

The dedication plaque. This impressed Rory.

Now, it was time to see the flowers.  First stop, the Blaschka workbench.

I hate to think what would happen if Rory could actually get to those tools.
Mmmm, rotten peaches.

Yum! Apple scab.

Now it’s time for some actual flowers.  No more rotten stuff.  Promise.

I don't know what it is but it's really neat looking.

There’s one more post of Rory filled goodness coming.  There are just too many pictures of the Glass Flowers for one post.  After that, Rory will take on MIT and then, who knows where he’ll go?
