I thought it was pretty funny myself

A lot of Patriots fans have been talking about the new video on Funny or Die by Pats quarterback Tom Brady.  Basically, it is all about accents, and of course he doesn’t have one, much less a Boston one.  He seems to be a good sport about the whole thing, and I always applaud anyone who doesn’t mind doing some self-parody.  Anyway, for all you non-Boston people who haven’t seen it yet, here it is.

That play we missed

Regular readers will have noticed that I mentioned that Geoff and I missed a friend’s Very Important Play on Friday night when Smoky took ill.  I emailed him to explain and apologize, but it’s never as good as being there.  I know I hate it when my friends miss my performances, even when they have a really good reason.  Thankfully someone was able to videotape the experience, and in HD no less.

On Football

It’s no secret if you know me and Geoff that I’m the bigger football fan in this family.  While we’re both Red Sox fans, I’ll generally sit and watch a football game on TV with more interest than I will a baseball game.  I enjoy a baseball game live much more than on the TV while I will happily watch football either way.  I am also far more likely to talk football smack with friends and coworkers than Geoff is.  Unless of course you’re a Yankee fan, then all bets are off.
