Moving- the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The extended radio silence around here has been due to several factors.  The major factor has been because Geoff and I spent the better part of this summer looking for and then buying a house.  (YAY HOUSE!!!!!)  Then we had to move.

We had to move ALL the stuff and things.  And ALL the books.  OMG.

Antiques & Art – living side by side

I promised the other day that our next post would be about the awesome things that we saw at the antique show we went to.  I might have overstated that a bit.  There was a lot of great stuff.  Then there was this.

It's a door. It was for sale.
It’s a door.  Yeah.

Thankfully I didn’t see it, Geoff did.  What Geoff and I spent a lot of time looking at though was this amazing marriage of art and antiques that was in a booth at the back.  The work that this guy does is truly one of a kind.  Check it out.

Shop Local- your holiday shopping calendar

As much as I try to pretend otherwise, it is November.  And while this does mean that there is a lot of really good music happening this month, it also means that it’s time for Holiday Craft Show Season to really get underway.  My schedule is packed with great shows.  If you need gifts for people who are interesting, quirky, hard to shop for, or just want something one of a kind, look no further.

Seriously, click on that link below.  It’s right down there.
