There is a bit of a running joke about the subway vent in the King’s Chapel Burial Ground. Tourists ask about it on a fairly frequent basis. And one response that is sometimes given (but not by me) is that it is a zombie pit. It certainly does look as if someone is trying to keep everyone out, because they are. Or perhaps… keep something in. Heh, heh, heh.

26 posters
Don’t worry, they’re not all in this post.
Today I got my daily email from Fab.com. One of the featured shops was for artist John Keddie, a San Francisco based artist who is a multimedia computer savvy type guy. He also very clearly has an appreciation for pop culture and, well, twisted humor. That’s why we’ve put up 7 of his posters. The rest are probably too, um, gritty for our parents. As they read this blog regularly and may pass out from too much grit, we’ve erred on the side of caution with our choices.
My great white green whale
Geoff and I don’t have a lot of money. This means that when we need something I tend to spend a lot of time looking to find the right item at the right price and the right quality. That way we don’t have to replace it in 10 minutes and we end up with what we need. Sometimes this is harder to do than other times.
Creepy item of the day
I’m a big fan of putting up weird, creepy, poorly thought out, and generally strange stuff here that I find in various parts of the internet. Some times they’re emailed to me and other times I just happen across them. Today, this landed in my inbox.
Turns out that I am half Cylon
Yeah, I know what you are thinking. “Um, Geoff, what are you talking about?”
Well, I have definitive proof that the Cylons, at least the ones from Earth, were Portuguese. No wonder we were such great explorers for so long.
