This was sent to me by the always fabulous Amanda. It was tweeted by the one and only Nichelle Nichols and was taken in the Oval Office on 2/29/12. Yes, I’m going to make you click through to see it, it’s that good.

April 1st is here again
So far today we’ve seen some pretty inventive April Fools Jokes from corporate America. The first to cross my virtual desk was this one from “Warby Barker.” It’s a very well done prank by Warby Parker, an online glasses retailer with a social awareness bent.
Those screenwriters got everything wrong
Someone finally decided to end movies the way they should have ended. My favorites so far are the Star Wars ones and the Jurassic Park one.

Gratuituous Snoopy photos
Snoopy likes to spend lots of time demanding attention and trying to sit on one or the other of us when we’re on the computer. Not exactly the best material for getting pictures. But tonight he finally got comfortable with one of the, um, many dog toys we have around here and he got to work on it. This happens to be a $0.69 special we got on sale sometime after Christmas. (Rerun is an expert at The Pathetic Dog Whimper.)

Happy Leap Day
As expected with a day that comes along only once every 4 years, my inbox has been inundated with various emails with sales, special offers and the like. Below is a selection of my favorite emails, images, and words from today.
Meeting on the internet
Most of you know that Geoff and I met on the internet. Most of you probably don’t know that Geoff had some very particular questions for me before we first met in person.
Fab.com does it again
During today’s steady stream of email, this one made me laugh. This is from an artist who does modern quasi advertising art and political mockery in the style of 30’s through 50’s advertising. And, it is quite good.
