My new favorite Etsy Seller
I received this email today and I immediately started cackling when I got to this photo. Naturally, I had to show it to Geoff. Also naturally, it was already sold out by the time I clicked through and got to Etsy. These people are Evil Geniuses.

I got this from Etsy in their daily newsletter yesterday. In small scale it was just confusing and mildly nauseating. When I clicked through to the site it was more confusing and made me want to smack someone.

As expected with a day that comes along only once every 4 years, my inbox has been inundated with various emails with sales, special offers and the like. Below is a selection of my favorite emails, images, and words from today.
Australia Day
Apparently Australia Day was yesterday. I was not aware of this until I received an email from Etsy entitled From The Land Down Under. (And if that doesn’t instantly give you an 80’s ear worm, nothing will.)
One of the best, and worst, things I have ever seen on Etsy
I got my daily Etsy email and as I was scrolling through there was a section of soap gifts listed. I’ve noticed over the years that there are some pretty creative soap makers on Etsy. The rest sell bars of stuff that probably make you smell like a Victorian whore, but some of the more creative ones are pretty funny.

Just a quick ???? for all of you
This came in to my inbox the other day from Etsy and I just… I cannot explain it.
I love cashmere
Those of you who know me know that I refer to the cold part of the year as Cashmere Season. (The hot part of the year is Involuntary Sweating Season. I hate that part, thank goodness it is almost over.) I have even gotten Geoff into some cashmere sweaters. Naturally, I never pay full price. Paying full price is for suckers. Regular readers around here also know that I get daily emails from Etsy. This little gem popped up in my inbox the other day and I just didn’t know what to make of it. Especially in AUGUST. Who advertises this in August???
