Someone finally decided to end movies the way they should have ended. My favorites so far are the Star Wars ones and the Jurassic Park one.

Today is St. Patrick’s Day. As I write this thousands of Bostonians are going out to traditional Irish-like watering holes to drink themselves into oblivion on green beer and bad bar food. Geoff and I didn’t have much to do today other than a doggie play date this morning and a few errands. On his way home from running errands, Geoff stopped at the nearest Burger King and got us each a meal.
You are forthwith forbidden from mentioning Papelbon to us.
Most of you know that Geoff and I met on the internet. Most of you probably don’t know that Geoff had some very particular questions for me before we first met in person.
Buying things off the Internet can be fun and economical. It can also be infuriating, frustrating, maddening, and make you want to throw furniture.
And maybe a small rant…
Despite the fact that I slept in today, I’ve gotten a remarkable amount of work done. I got the two thank you notes from yesterday’s interview written and sent out with Geoff to be dropped in the mail. I had picked up some more stamps on my way home after yesterday’s interview precisely so I wouldn’t have to hunt down a random forever stamp left over from the wedding or mix together a conglomeration of postcard stamps to do the trick.
I got an email about another interview from an interested local college. We have a telephone interview tomorrow and, if all goes well, an in person interview sometime soon after that.
Apparently Australia Day was yesterday. I was not aware of this until I received an email from Etsy entitled From The Land Down Under. (And if that doesn’t instantly give you an 80’s ear worm, nothing will.)
When the picture is done properly.
I used to work in the retail and online auction industry. In fact, sometimes I was responsible for actually taking the pictures and photo editing them so that they could be put up online to sell stuff. That’s why when this photo showed up in my inbox the other day I literally had to do a double take.
When each Friday the 13th rolls around I know I’m going to get a version of the following email from the good folks at Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. If you don’t know who they are, click on over and spend some good quality time there. They sell amazing fragrances and things made from essential oils and their Black Phoenix Trading Post has some outstanding items, especially jewelry. Go ahead. I’ll wait.
