Will someone please shoot it and put it out of our misery?
Count me as one of them
Yesterday there was a post on Boston.com about a poll that showed that 50% of Red Sox fans now want Terry Francona back.
11/11
Today was my first day off after 11 straight days of work. Why, yes, I am tired.
Pretty ladies
Things are a little crazy right now. We’re both pretty busy through the weekend. But last weekend I was able to attend my friend Tessa’s Bachelorette party. Like Teri and me, Tessa is also taking the plunge with her fiance, Brian, in September. (Only, you know, I married Geoff and Teri is marrying Patricio.)
My Civil War Walking Tour for Historic New England
Hello everyone. I have been meaning to put up a link to the new tour that will be led by yours truly, so here is the link to the first one, which will be on September 22nd. That day is the 150th anniversary of the issuing of the Preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, so it is a pretty appropriate day, I think. If you have the time, come on out and learn some history with me.

Just when you think it is over…
The Universe rears up its ugly head and reminds you that it can rain hell on you at any time.
This made me laugh
In lieu of content at the moment, I bring you this.

We’ll have actual content later. This is my first day off in a week and Geoff has been working for over a week straight without a break. But, we have stuff and things to blog about, it’s just going to be a little while.
More later-

Some good old fashioned Phone Phreaking
Those of you who call our home number (not the numbers on our resume and not one I will post here) may notice something different about our voice mail. We’ve changed the message to make it a deterrent to auto-dialers and telemarketers.
Upcoming August Concerts
August is usually a pretty staid month for music here in Boston, but we’ve got some good concerts coming up. Everything from early music to Ravel is in the works for the next few weeks.
I need to clean off my camera more often
I was working on updating our For Sale page last night and I realized that I had photos on my camera from when Geoff’s parents, sister, brother-in-law, and the kids were in town back in July. Whoops.
So, without further ado, here they are.
