Things are a little crazy right now. We’re both pretty busy through the weekend. But last weekend I was able to attend my friend Tessa’s Bachelorette party. Like Teri and me, Tessa is also taking the plunge with her fiance, Brian, in September. (Only, you know, I married Geoff and Teri is marrying Patricio.)

I need to clean off my camera more often
I was working on updating our For Sale page last night and I realized that I had photos on my camera from when Geoff’s parents, sister, brother-in-law, and the kids were in town back in July. Whoops.
So, without further ado, here they are.

Yesterday was Geoff’s 42nd birthday. We both had to work during the day, but we arranged to go out to Kowloon with some friends for dinner last night. Hilarity and a coconut, which may or may not be possessed, ensued.

On July 14th, Kelly and I headed to New Hampshire to join other family members at my sister’s place for a big family meal. And since I got to do a lot of the cooking, I had a grand old time.
New Hampshire Gift Shops and Other Scary Things
As you may have seen from Geoff’s post from the other day about Inappropriate Napping, we spent Thursday in New Hampshire with Geoff’s parents, sister, brother in law, and the kids. Before going out to dinner we went to a local gift shop aimed at the camping and antiquing tourists that come through the area. It was… an experience.

Family dinner outing
Yesterday we had a bit of a family get-together, probably the first one Kelly and I have attended since Christmas. My parent flew into town and they will be in New England for over two weeks. So a large group of us went out to dinner at this place called The Chateau in Andover.
Harborfest is over
And it has been a very, very busy week for me, between the two jobs and police details.

A bit of history… to eat
This week will be the first time in well over a decade that I have worn any of my Civil War gear. So this week I tried a bunch of my stuff on and what do you know, it still fits, although the vest is going to need some adjustments. Still, I am excited about doing it, and to be getting involved with history again. And to get me in the spirit of things I decided to take a little trip to Milton, home of the G.H. Bent Company.
